Achieve Synergy consists of both instructors & students who have been pole dancing from as little as a year to 7 years. They embrace one another’s style and work together regardless of style preference.
The owner of “Haus of Pole”, Amber Ray has been teaching pole dance for over 10 years, and previously trained in classical and commercial dance. As a competitor, Amber is best known for her athleticism, style diversity and performance skills. Amber has had the honour of judging numerous pole competitions and has appeared in film and media.
Bridget first graced the Encore stage 3 years ago as only her 2nd stage performance ever. Soon after she took an 8 month break while recovering from major surgery, but got right back on the pole as soon as she could in 2014 starting her training from scratch.
Since then Bridget has been in both New Idea and Australian Pole Dancers magazine encouraging a healthy lifestyle through dance. She is forever evolving her characters and dance – and will continue her passion for this in years to come.
Brooke’s background is in Ballroom and Latin – she was second in the World Diamond Cup Hong Kong, 2nd Australian Open, and has featured on the Strictly Dancing TV show. She will be performing with her dance partner Aric (National champion touring nation wide for Burn the Floor).
Cat Fish has been dancing since the age of 3 in various dance disciplines. For the past 3 years she has fallen in love with pole dance as it allows her to incorporate any style into a routine while still holding an acrobatic element. In 2015 she entered her first competition “Vertical Limits” and won first place in the Amateur division. In 2016 she took out “Best Trickster” in Hardcore Amateur Championships.
With no background in dance or gymnastics, Cynthia started pole in 2011 as a bet. Since then she’s placed in amateur pole competitions as well as being a national finalist in the 2015 Australian Pole Championships and the 2016 Hardcore Pole Championships Semi Professional Champion.
Daisy & Sim Bastick
Daisy & Sim are a talented sister duo! Daisy has a background in dance, and has been poling for over 12 years, working in Australia and overseas as a showgirl, and competing at a professional level in many of the highest ranking pole dance competitions. Her sister Sim is a singer songwriter and artist from Cowra.
Elle Diablo has been pole dancing for 12 years and it was through pole dance she got involved in circus. She signed up for a full time circus short course to learn to do a walk over in heels and while there did a fire eating workshop. She was instantly hooked! From there she taught herself to swallow swords and have toured both nationally and internationally including the BoomTown Festival and Torture Garden in the UK. Pole really changed her life! Although she’s still never mastered the walk over…
Emma has been dancing since the age of 3, covering a vast range of dance styles over the years including; ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary and aerobics. Emma added pole dancing to the list in 2011.
Ezra started pole dancing about 5 years ago with a little bit of a dance and drama background from school. What started as a hobby has become a huge obsession and part of her life and I can’t imagine my life without pole anymore!
She works as a fashion designer as her day job which she loves, but pole and burlesque is the place where she can let her imagination go wild!
While most people walk before they can run, Faye Fonteyn was dancing before she could do either. Faye’s extensive dance experience has lead her to perform in many successful musicals such as Phantom Of The Opera, We Will Rock You, Showboat and Disney’s Beauty & The Beast, allowing her to travel the world as a prestigious performer.
Faye is now a full time Pilates Instructor and a certified pole addict, defining herself first and foremost as an artist. She won the first ever Pole Superstars Competition at the Hillside Hotel in 2015, was 1st Runner Up at The Peach Pole Studio’s Sexy’s Back Comp 2015 and is the current Floorplay Sydney Champion.
Glenda has been pole dancing for 3.5 years. After one year of classes Glenda was looking for another challenge and started competing. Glenda has competed at national level in both solo and group routines.She is always striving to bring something better to the stage than anything she has done before.
Katie & Tay
Tay has danced in all styles for 15 years, competing at state level in a number of those styles. Katie has a background in calisthenics. Both have been poling for 2.5 years and have been instructors, representing Aerialfit Studios in showcases and demonstrations as well as competitions.
Recognised for her fitness-focused circus style and quirky routines, Kymmie is an entertaining performer who brings a flair of individuality to the pole. She is a former Miss Pole Dance Qld, Miss Pole Dance Australia finalist and was also a semi-finalist on Australia’s Got Talent in 2010, performing as one of the Pure Pole Angels. Kymmie has spent the last few years on the other side of pole performances, working behind the scenes as one of the producers of Encore!
Larry is a circus artist from Auckland, New Zealand with a wide repertoire of performance skills and is a regular performer and competitor in New Zealand’s pole and circus scenes. He draws inspiration from a variety of performance arts such as hip-hop, contemporary dance, yoga, capoeira, burlesque, gymnastics, and clowning.
Luna has spent the last decade flying through the air, training in pole, lyra, silks, & hammock. A self-confessed anatomy geek, on the ground, she loves all forms of movement, from acrobatics & flexibility to functional training. She is an instructor at Bobbi’s Pole Studio and is also a qualified yoga teacher, certified in power yoga, advanced yoga and antigravity yoga. Most recently, she competed in the NSW Heats of Miss Pole Dance Australia 2017.
All three ladies have been dancers at Bobbi’s Pole Studio for close to a decade, and now work there in various capacities. They share a love of dance and pole, inspiring and challenging each other every session.
Each of the Peachies have been pole dancing for at least three years, some up to 6 years. There are a variety of different styles between the group, ranging from Ballet, Gymnastics, Latin, hip hop, Jazz, Burlesque and Cheerleading. Between them they’ve competed in MPD NSW, Dance filthy, Sexy’s back, FloorPlay, My Secret Life. They are excited about creating something unique and having a good laugh!
Peita has been dancing most of her life, doing ballet and jazz. She’s been pole dancing for the past 5 years and placed 3rd in the Hard-core Pole Championship and was a finalist in the VPC Amateur division, Miss Pole Dance Victoria and Step Up.
Penelope P Pitbull
Whether it’ teaching a new move to students, nailing a move herself, delivering a calf or doing the rounds to check the new lambs, not one day is ever the same for Penelope. Not in a million years did she ever envisage this beautiful and crazy life for herself, and it’s definitely not your average fairytale.
You’ve never seen a live pole performance the likes of the combined twisted, tongue in cheek minds of the Pole Fanatics dancers. They are a team with varied dance backgrounds (including ballet, cheerleading, contemporary, hip hop, bollywood, belly dancing & acrobatics).
Since the age of 8, Sally Huang has been exploring different styles of dancing, such as ballroom and Chinese folk dancing. Two years ago at the age of 27, she was first introduced into pole. From pole, she also extends her passion in various dancing styles such as flamenco, hip hop and belly dance. She also attempts aerial arts and acrobatics such as silk and contortion.
Skye Lullabye began pole dancing 3 years ago in regional NSW. These days, she mainly trains in her living room and enjoys the opportunity to perform solo dances. Passionate about pole choreography, she begun competition pole in 2015 and loves to strive to achieve new pole goals while creating unique routines. Skye Lullabye has performed in a number of competitions including Pole Theatre 2015 as well as Miss Pole Dance Qld and NSW pole Championships Finals 2016.
With a long dance & performance history in Australia & Internationally, Sparkarella loves anything to do with movement & performance. Currently she performs as a solo artist, choreographs & mentors students, and shows and also dances the Argentine tango. But her most favourite thing by far is being a Mum to her vibrant little daughter Chilli!
Ally Cat, Jane Blair, and Miss Satin are all part of the Australian Pole Dancers Magazine. They have all been finalists in a range of pole competitions, and have a couple of titles under their belts. They are bringing a performance to Encore that is kooky, surprising and fun!
Emma and Karly decided to pair up as duo act ‘The Glamazons’ after working together in the group ‘Jungle Boogie’ for Encore in 2014. Emma began pole dancing in 2010 and Karly in 2011 and since then both have explored the many facets of pole as well as acrobatics, adagio and lyrical dance. Both ladies are all about style and sass and enjoy combining different dance styles into a well-thought out routine that takes the audience on a journey and tell a story.
The Wrecking Girls
The Wrecking Girls love twerking…it’s true, they do. They are all currently working towards their Masters of Twerkology (trust them, it’s a thing), and while they all do various sports and activites during the week, pole is their dance style of choice. They love getting together to support each other and improve constantly, and of course have a good twerk-off every now and then (or every week, but who’s counting?)
Wesley & Jamie
Wesley and Jamie are a male double act! Wesley commenced pole classes at Studio Verve in 2013 and has a background in ballet and Chinese folk dancing. Wesley’s performances are filled with drama and emotion and his favourite skills are those that combine both flexibility and strength. Jamie has been pole dancing for four years an is always looking to expand his repertoire, regularly attending dance and flexibility classes in addition to pole.
