The Encore! Sydney Pole Show was established in 2012 to provide unique performance opportunities to the pole dance community. Encore! is the first event of its kind – a performance and entertainment event for pole dancers of all genres and genders. We set the stage for dancers to unleash their creativity and raw talent!
We’ve united the spectrum of pole dancing and provided a platform outside of a competitive environment where performers can express their individuality and dance styles in solo, double or group performances. Encore! is an international event and has drawn participants and spectators from around the globe.
From the first pole performance to the last I was riveted. In true pole dance style the stage was alive with glittering stardust sprays, strapped up studded barely there costumes & dramatic lighting as the dancers entertained with sexy, funny, psychotic, pole-litical, euphoric and very, very personal shows. — 007 Heaven
Being part of Encore! isn’t about being the best pole dancer, it’s about being different and performing the way you want to perform. If you’re male or female, a student, instructor or a professional performer Encore! is the time to come out into the spotlight!
The night was chock-full of surprises. I didn’t expect to see a congenital amputee perform a pole routine with one arm – but I did. I didn’t expect to see a queer feminist activist gyrate to Nine Inch Nails’ Closer while calling for stripper pride – but I did. — Star Observer
